Seasonal Meeting Review
(If you didn't make the meeting, then you missed out on some great door prizes)

Staff – Introductions….
Our staff is here to help us make your visit enjoyable, they have been instructed by Mary and I as to their duties.

Mom & Dad -  Welcome as new neighbors  Frank & Dolores

Annual deposit for upcoming lot renewal – Bills will be sent 90 days prior to your renewal date.  $75 advance payment… Helps us manage for lot availability.  Balance then due your anniversary month.
(Give George & Sharon theirs…. (as example….lol)

Electric Bills  -  Meters are read last day of month.  Will email bill…(need updated email address…see Mary.  If no email address beginning of month please check and pay at office.   Electric bills are due by 10th of month basically.

Entering the campground – Please make a “complete” stop when entering the campground. This gives us an opportunity to recognize who is entering and will also help you slow down in the campground. We need you to drive slowly for everyone’s safety. We have also found that slower driving causes less dust and wear on our gravel roads. When you leave the campground, please use the exit road. Again this is for safety and will cause less congestion at the entrance.

We have one entrance and one exit to the campground, You may NOT access the campground (to or from) the house next door.

In the event that the entrance is blocked by a vehicle, please be patient, we will get them moving along as soon as possible. Keep this in mind if you need to stop to get Ice or talk to other guests.

5 ½ mile speed limit---Please inform your guests. The speed limit also INCLUDES GOLF CARTS! Please do not hesitate to ask someone to slow down, but do not argue with them, simply suggest that they talk to Dale….

Trees – Trees are an asset to our campground, you are not allowed to nail or screw to any tree. When a tree is punctured, it causes the tree to die. We also ask that you use a bungee cord or “Loose” fitting rope when hanging anything to a traa. If we feel your attachment is endangering the tree, we will remove it. We have also been clearing out dead and dying trees. We are attempting to do so without having to move any campers, but, there may be a few that have to be moved to drop limbs (or the tree)

Trash – Please place all your trash inside a dumpster, if the dumpster is full, please take the trash to the dumpster by the exit road. We also ask that you break down cardboard boxes to utilize the space in the dumpsters. You should check with Dale when you have items that will not fit in the dumpster. The Disposal service will NOT take tires, lawn mowers or hazardous materials.

We would also appreciate your assistance in picking up trash you find on the campground.

Clean up – Please keep your campsites “clean”, do not leave any trash in your fire pits. Do not accumulate materials or supplies on your campsite. We appreciate everyone’s help in keeping the grounds clean, neat and orderly. Trailer washing is only allowed during the week or low usage times.

Sewer Connections – Sewer connections should be sealed, if using the sewer hose, use a rubber grommet. If you hard pipe your trailer (recommended) a 3” elbow will fit snuggly into the 4” ground inlet.

Water Connections – If you place a splitter on your water supply you need to install a vacuum breaker valve leading to the hose not connected to the camper. This is required by the State Department of Health.

Standing Water – We have been asked by the Indiana State Department of Health to eliminate items that hold water. This means, no buckets, pans, glasses or other objects that will hold water. Standing water is the number one cause of  mosquito development.

Picnic Tables –
Please do not leave picnic table covers on the tables. It’s okay to use them, but remove them before you leave for the weekend. We have found that the table cloths retain moisture and will rot the tops out faster.

DOOR PRIZES

Sheds – All sheds MUST be approved PRIOR to placing them on your campsite. No sheds will be allowed larger than 4 ft x 6 ft providing there is enough room on your site. Current shed owners will be considered “grand-fathered in” but keep in mind when you relinquish your site, the shed must be removed from the campground.

Tents - Tents are not allowed on seasonal campsites. Since our service lines cable, telephone, water, electric and septic lines are through out sites, we do not allow tents to be put on seasonal sites.

Glass – Glass bottles – please refrain from bringing glass bottles to the campground. We will continue to enforce our policy of “No Glass Bottles” in the rec room and will continue to discourage glass bottles on the property. State rules and regulations do NOT allow any glass containers in the swimming pool. A single broken glass bottle cause injury to a guest or damage to our equipment.

Decks – We allow decks to be built at your own expense. We do not allow them to be inserted into the ground and ask that they are made mo larger than 4 x 8 sections so they can be moved easily. Also keep them above the ground to allow air flow and to keep animals from making it their home.

Golf cart regs. –  Golf carts are a privilege, not a right.  Do NOT Drive drunk! You may lose your golf cart privilege! Golf cart operation requires a licensed driver in the front seat. Use ramp in front of house for golf carts only. 12 PM curfew, 10 PM curfew for loud golf carts. No driving after dark without lights, stay on the gravel roads where ever possible, Golf carts MUST be maintained. All golf cart owners must provide us with “proof of insurance” before they will be allowed to be driven in the campground.

We reserve the right to revoke or limit golf cart use in the campground. Pedestrians and other vehicles have the right of way! Revocation will occur if we get complaints of excessive speed, driving dangerously, catch golf carts operating with more than the golf cart seating allows or carts being driven without a licensed driver in the front seat.

The GOLF CART OWNER is responsible for their golf cart! Do not allow anyone to operate your golf cart without advising them of the rules or YOU may be asked to remove the golf cart from the campground.

River Access – We do not allow people to enter our property from the river. If you see a non-camper entering the campground from the river, please let Mary or I know asap. It is not fair to our paying guests when non campers access our property and also is a major concern for safety and theft.
