11 inches - Both have blond hair and blue open and close
eyes
Boy dressed in Black pants with a blue jacket and matching
hat. White scarf and black shoes with buckles.
Girl Dressed in blue cape type jacket trimmed with
white, large brimmed bonnet tied with white ribbon, lavender
pleated skirt with lace trimmed petticoat and bloomers. Black
boot shoes.
These dolls are pictured (page 185) in "Effanbee:
A Collector's Encyclopedia" 1949 thru 1983 copyright in 1983 by
Hobby House Press, Inc. it states:
"The dolls are inspired by the 19th century Currier and Ives
lithographs."
